Our Mini's are registered with NSDR, MASCA, and NAMASCUSCA. We breed quality Miniature Australian Shepherds for correct temperament, health, instinct and as working dogs, whether it is herding, obedience, agility, tracking, therapy dogs, or as a “forever” companion. Here at Color Country Aussies we strive to breed quality dogs with great conformation and disposition. We have standard, miniature and toy aussies. Our Standards are registered with ASCA our mini's and toy's are registered with NSDR some are registered also with ASDR, APRI, MASCA and the CKC. We have been blessed with some really nice dogs and our smaller dogs are a true to form aussie with great temperaments. We are very selective in our breeding program and breed only quality dogs. Miniature Australian Shepherds have herding instincts just like the standards just in a smaller package. The mini's and the toys are very loyal and make great family dogs, just as the standards. All aussies are known for being very smart and loyal. Our dogs are raised around cattle horses and well socialized. We strive to raise quality minis that replicate the look of the standard aussie. It is important that they be structurally correct, have stable temperments and maintain some natural aussie instincts. Our pups are very social and are raised around other critters and have "seen" cattle. They could compete in various facets of performance activities as well as the conformation ring; but most importantly, they would be wonderful loyal companions.

We at CL Aussies lovingly raise Toy/Miniature Australian Shepherds, in our home, under foot. Our dogs are all tested for inheritable eye diseases, have their hips OFA’d for breeding soundness and eyes CERF’d clear.
