Large, powerful and squarely built, with a large head, brown eyes, black nose, and triangular drop ears set high; deep chest; long, bushy tail; Berners are herding and carting dogs; great farm dogs but can be city dwellers too, as long as their people are; great with children and other animals. A wonderful breed in general. |
